Ipamorelin
GH Release
What this compound is
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide developed as a selective agonist at the growth-hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a), the receptor that also responds to the hormone ghrelin. That selectivity is what makes it useful in the laboratory: it isolates GHS-R1a signalling from other endocrine pathways in cell and animal models. It is not approved for any medical use.
